between finishing a record and more or less beginning to sketch out ideas for a new

one. It just seems to be a natural progression for me. There's always something going
    on.

FD: Well, that's good. And when you have spare time in between touring, because
you've been doing a lengthy tour, all sorts of tours and dates you've been doing
throughout the world. How do Eric and Ulrika Bibb and the rest of your family, relax
when there's not a gig around and you aren't recording? What's on the hi-fi at home, for
    argument's sake?

EB: Well, my Dad's record was on the turntable recently. He (Leon Bibb, actor, folk
singer and activist. Ed) made quite a few albums, but I was listening to my father's
recording of Leonard Bernstein's ‘Maria’, you know, from "West Side Story" and it's one
of the best versions ever that I've ever heard that I hear. Just a lot of beautiful music.
But that was the most recent turntable spin. But really at home, I would work a bit. I'd
paint a bit. And we'd cook all the time. So, you know, between all of that and a song that
will come through in the middle of everything, that's the way we live, you know, when
    we're not on the road.

FD: Fantastic. Well, Eric, it's been a pleasure to talk to you again. I'm really looking
forward to hearing you in April. And in fact, I get to be your stage manager and emcee
at the Bellarine Estates Winery on the 18th of April. So I'll meet you and see the band
    in person.

    EB: That's great.

FD: In the meantime, we'll close out with the track ‘Muddy Waters’ and, of course, ‘This
One Don't’, which is a great video on ‘This One Don't’. It actually got me up and started
dancing, which is a scary sight.

EB: Very good. Dance like no one's watching.

FD: Eric Bibb, thank you again for your time. And have a great holiday season. Here's
to an early and very happy New Year wish to you and your family. And once again, thanks
for your time on A Different Shade of Blue.

EB: Oh, the same to you, Frank.
