was kind of a mess. So it was very, very, very much so just live. We're just sitting
there looking at each other and playing. It is what it is.

BiTS: The picture on the cover makes it look as though you did it in Mama's living

    room [laughs].

AB: Yeah, it's not quite that raw, but it was close to that. That was actually the
    rehearsal before.

BiTS: Yeah. Tell me, how are you going to market this? Are
you just doing it around Dallas? Are you doing anything
special about it, sending it out to places like me, for

    instance?

AB: I've sent it out to DJs that I've been in communication
with, that I know will pay attention. You know, I used to

send it out to more people, but it's very expensive. I actually
just sent you the digital. I can't get them across the ocean anym
ore. It's just crazy expensive. I've had the IBCs and the Blues Foundation, you know

that situation in Memphis? So my CD was chosen. I sent it to the Blues Society, they
call it the Trinity River Blues Society here in North Texas, and they chose my CD to
represent North Texas. So we're in the process of trying to get it over there. We sent

it, overnighted it last Friday. It's in Memphis, but they go to the Blues Foundation,
and it's never open, and then the neighbours are saying they're not located there
anymore. So we're trying to get it to that. That's one thing that I'm hoping will help

with marketing a little bit. I'm thinking about maybe sending it to at least one label,
see if they have any interest in helping.

BiTS: I didn't realize until I read your biography that you've represented Texas, I

think it says on three occasions in the Blues Challenge in Memphis.

AB: Yeah, the other two times I went physically and performed, but this time round

    it's just for a CD.

BiTS: Did you enjoy the experience of going to Memphis to do that?

AB: Oh yeah, it was a blast. Yeah, it was a lot of fun.

BiTS: What about things for the future? You got anything big planned for the
    marketing of the album?

AB: No, just basically that I might send it out to more places and hopefully I'll get

some attention in Memphis. I'm hoping that'll help and then do some radio
interviews and stuff. That's pretty much it.

BiTS: There's a phenomenal number of absolutely fabulous musicians that live in

the twin cities, Dallas and Fort Worth, and in the mid-cities in between. Do you get
to play with many of those? I know, you've played with Christian Dozzler. What about
    other musicians around the area?
