5.3 Therapy Plans
Only physicians, may order medications in EPIC Used when IP:

Will be given in Special Procedure Unit or Dialysis Clinic. Therapy Plans are built by IDS Pharmacy. The PI will need to sign off on Therapy Plans on the visit the Therapy plan is initiated.
Log into EPIC.
Choose the patient through the steps listed above or through the ‘Patient Station’ tab.
Two items need to be completed before going to the ‘Therapy Plan’.
ü Acknowledge allergies under the ‘Allergies’ tab to the left.
ü Enter a current weight or dosing weight.
3. The ‘Therapy Plan’ tab is usually located at the end of the list to the left. Click the ‘Therapy Plan’ tab.
