Circulatory system
Heart Blood vessels

➢ Heart muscle : - Pumps the blood to all body cells
➢ Blood vessels: - Allow blood to flow throughout the body.
❶ Arteries. ❷Veins. ❸Blood capillaries.
Function:
It transports blood, gases, nutrients and
hormones (secreted by endocrine system)
throughout the body.
Its role during danger:
1) The heartbeats increase causing:
2) The heart pumps more blood to the muscles, the heart and the
other organs.
3) The blood pressure increases.
3 Respiratory system
Structure:
It consists of lungs, diaphragm and airways (such as
trachea and bronchi).
Function:
It provides the body with oxygen gas and gets rid of
carbon dioxide gas.
