EXT. HOUSE - DAY
TERRY comes out of the front door. As he straps on his
crash helmet we see that he’s a mess.
As well as his food stained shirt, his strides have seen better days, the hems frayed, his jacket is missing a
button or two and the sole of one of his ankle boots is starting to flap.
The London we’re in is timeless, not a particular time
and not historically accurate. A mixture of vehicles,
objects and technology from several different decades.
He gets on a two-tone Triumph Tigress scooter and
attempts to kick start it. After several attempts it splutters into life. In a few seconds he’s engulfed in a thick cloud of smoke.
EXT. LONDON STREETS - DAY
TITLES OVER: TERRY potters to work on his scooter, smoke billowing from the exhaust. He wears a corker helmet
that’s a size too small, large leather gauntlets and
goggles.
Everywhere he looks he sees an attractive woman.
A PRETTY GIRL on a bus. GORGEOUS
A LINGERIE MODEL on a poster.
He follows the progress of LOVELY LADY as she crosses
the junction, unaware that the lights have changed
until the bus behind him blows it’s tremendous horn,
scaring the living daylights out of him.
End titles.
EXT. SOHO. MOTORCYCLE PARKING BAY - DAY
TERRY heaves his scooter onto it’s stand outside a
classic Soho Strip Club.
EXT. BAR ITALIA - DAY
The traditional coffee shop, unchanged since the sixties. INT. BAR ITALIA - DAY
TERRY waits in line. The COFFEE GIRL takes his order.
