               Presentation of the IZZI Platform for Learning Content

               from the Field of Health Care

               The education of nurses and technicians consists of classical lecture-type classes and practical
               classes.  The  choice  of  teaching  method  depends  on  the  goal  of  the  teaching  process,  the
               complexity of the content, the prior knowledge of the students and the qualifications of the
               teacher. An inappropriate choice of method slows down the learning process and increases
               student disinterest. Nowadays, choosing the optimal teaching method is an important task for
               teachers. The teacher is no longer just a transmitter of knowledge but a mentor who encourages
               innovation, determination, creativity, active involvement of students in the teaching process,
               acquisition of competences and preparation for real clinical practice. It is important to teach
               students the clinical skills that are necessary for the implementation of health care and medical-
               technical procedures. New trends in education increasingly highlight the importance of using
               digital technology in teaching.
               Vocational teachers of the Vinogradska Nursing School participated in the Mlinarska Regional
               Competence Center project (UP.03.3.1.04.0020) as authors of digital educational content in the
               field of health care for adults, children, surgical patients and emergency medical procedures.
               The  mentioned  digital  educational  contents  contain  a  theoretical  part,  skills  videos  and  a
               knowledge test, and are available on the IZZI platform.
               The aim of the lecture is to present the IZZI platform with contents from health care and skills
               to all stakeholders of the health system, and to show the possibilities and challenges faced by
               students and teachers in using it.
