Q.1 What is the success factors which made the Rihand Unit as a good performance in HSE?

Ans: It is well known that the construction industry is inherently hazardous, and execution of the project
is done by workmen's (skilled and unskilled both) where risk factor is always high. For mitigating
project risks and to improve HSE performance following factors had played a major role in Rihand
Project – Management Support, clear and reasonable objectives, teamwork, motivation support,
effective enforcement, enabling environment, trainings and suitable supervision.

Q.2 Why the total involvement of all employee required for a safe unit?

Ans: A safe unit requires every individual to take responsibility of the works they are executing as zone
safety leader.

Q.3 How motivation schemes help us to improve the safety culture?

Ans: Motivating an individual will improves the person performance in all aspects & will impact others
to improve safety practices in a broader manner.

Q.4 Why the Contractor HSE performance to be focussed to improve the MPW reputation?

Ans: As an EPC, we are executing job with contractors. So overall HSE improvement by individual
contractor is essential to improve the MPW reputation.

Q.4 What all are the initiatives helps to improve the HSE performance of the Organisation?

Ans: 1) Leadership commitment- top driven approach 2) Make our employees to own safety as way of
life 3) Understand, analyse and eliminate risks involved in the activity 4) Recognize and reward
employees for their contributions.

Q.5 One advise to HSE team to improve their facilitation?

Ans: I would like to thanks to the HSE team for their contribution and efforts for raising safety standards
of Rihand project. Further to strengthen the HSE process, frequency of HSE activities and active
participation of Client and Contractors senior management shall be increased.
