Abstract. This study was aimed to determine the effect of potassium fertilizer doses, Local
Microorganism concentrations, and the interaction between the two factors on the growth and
yield of shallots. This research used a Randomized Block Design with Factorial 3 x 4 and 3
replications. The factors observed were potassium fertilizer consisting of 3 levels of doses
(control, 100 and 200 kg ha ) and Local Microorganisms consisted of 4 levels of concentrations
-1
(control, 75, 150 and 225 ml L ). The results showed that the highest yield potential of the
-1
-1
shallots was found at a potassium fertilizer dose of 100 kg ha . The highest diameter of shallot
-1
bulbs was found at 150 ml L of Local Microorganism concentration, but it was not significantly
different from the control treatment. The highest growth and yield of shallots were found at the
-1
combination of potassium fertilizer dose of 200 kg ha with a Local liquid Microorganism
-1
concentration of 75 ml L .
