LO: Retell a fable story by giving it a new ending
Learners learnt about the features of a fable. They were delighted to listen to stories from
Aesop's fables and many other tales. They were encouraged to give a different twist to an old
fable and it was a delight to see their creative thinking surge.
Math
LO: Telling time in Analog and Digital clock
Calculate elapsed time
The learners mastered the concept of telling time by analog and digital clocks. They
understood the significance and importance of the 24-hour clock.
Science
Chemistry: LO: Uses of evaporation and condensation in daily life.
The learners were able to identify the different uses of evaporation in daily life and were able
to distinguish between evaporation and condensation using change of state.
Physics: LO: The learners demonstrated the formation of shadow and explained the reflection
and refraction of light through simple activity. They could correlate this to real life situations
and explain the phenomenon of the rainbow.
Biology: LO: The learners could investigate the growth of a plant and represent it in the form
of a bar chart.
They also examined the parts of a flower and described the functions of each part.
Social Science
LO: Know about the Parallels and Meridians and its importance and Movements of the Earth
and its causes
