        Investiture Ceremony



































        On  the  spectacular  afternoon  of  July17th  we  witnessed  the  young  leaders  of  Cambridge
        International at Delhi Public School Nacharam, taking over the mantle of responsibility. All the
        respected members of the school management, Mr. Chairman Shri. M Komaraiah Sir, Director
        Pallavi Ma’am, Principal Mrs. Sunitha Rao ma’am, Vice principal Mrs. Shanti Anthony ma’am
        and all the staff members, were present to grace this august gathering. The distinguished Chief
        guest of the day, Dr Shashank Goel, IAS and the Chief electoral officer and E.O special chief
        secretary to the government was there to grace the auspicious occasion.
        As Light is a symbol of brightness and prosperity and expels the darkness of ignorance by kindling
        the  lamp  of  knowledge  and  wisdom,  the  ceremony  began  with  the  traditional  lamp  lighting
        ceremony. Following the lamp lighting event, the dynamic and ever vibrant principal Mrs Sunitha
        Rao of DPS Nacharam, motivated and boosted everyone’s spirit with her speech.
        The vice principal Shanti Anthony ma’am then shared her rich insights with all the students and
        inspired  them  with  her  dynamic  initiatives.  Then  fellow  students,  Miss  Mahati  and  Master
        Akshay, explained how Student council elections prepare school students for life, helping them
        to develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. RICER, the mnemonic which
        describes all the students of Cambridge, was one of the main aspects of the ceremony. Five
        students  from  different  classes  explained  each  attribute  of  RICER:  Responsible,  Innovative,
        Confident, Engaged and Reflective.
        The Chief guest, Dr. Shashank Goel Sir administered the oath to the young cabinet member and
        Along with sir, the student council members raised their right hand forward and took the oath.
        Hereafter, sir proceeded onto giving his speech and thereby shared his beautiful pearls of wisdom
        with the students. The song, “We are the world”, was sung by the musically-talented students
