World Youth Skill day

World Youth Skill day was celebrated on 15th July 2021 in DPS CAIE, Nacharam. The program
was hosted by Grade III B and VII B students. It started with the traditional lamp lighting
ceremony and the prayer song by Anirudh of Grade-3B, ‘word’ of the day by Nanda of grade-7B,
‘thought’ of the day by Ishaan of Grade-3B, ‘significance’ of the day by Eshal of Grade-3B, Role
play on Helen keller by Mahathi of Grade-3B, Display on skill video on Grade-3B Learners, Live
Yoga session by Grade-7B Learners, Video on famous personalities by Grade-7B Learners, Role
play on Malala by Nuha of Grade-7B. Our VP ma’ am, Ms. Shanti Antony, introduced the
eminent guest Sri.k.Venugopala Rao General Manager (Operations) Telangana State Society for
training and employment promotion, to the gathering. The guest spoke about the importance of
the day and enhanced the spirit of the learners by discussing the skills that the Telangana
government is planning for the youth. He also discussed the setwin services provided by the
government to improve the skills among the youth at a reasonable price. To generate employment
opportunities to the educated unemployed youth, destitute women, physically handicapped
persons belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority communities by giving skill based training either to
get wage Employment or Self Employment.
