The administration is comprised of people that oversee the programmes. These are normally
your executive director and office staff. The director normally contacts the board and carries
out their instructions as well as overseeing staff who run the programmes. The final area is
programmes. These staff oversee the success of the various projects and programmes that
have been put in place whether that be a soup kitchen or a community sports day. Compare
this to the more rigid and profit-based structure of a for profit organization. They too have
board of directors who have certain goals in mind to achieve these profits. Under them is the
CEO, president, vice president amongst other high-ranking officials. Then there’s your
managers and staff who fall under them. For every company it will be different as all
businesses cater and hire according to skills required for the business. They usually operate
in the private sector, and are not usually aided by government financing as they work for
private financial gains.
