24. WM EVERTONS HARTLEPOOL GINGER BEER BOTTLE. 8ins tall, ch., t.t., cork closure. Large pictorial trade mark of a greyhound beneath a giant horseshoe, lettering above & below, the words ‘trade’ ‘mark’ either side with foliage embellishment. This ginger remains one of
the all time North East ‘classics’ and an exceptional difficult one to acquire - dug at the Headlands site, West Hartlepool. This is possibly the first ever offered on the open market? Minute thin base flake, does not detract - a true ‘gem!’ (9.3/10) NR £600-800+
