The doctor helped M put her stethoscope into her own ears to
listen, then couldn't help laughing as M then proceeded to hum
her own heartbeat:
Lubmmmm — Dubmmmmmm
Lubmmmmm — Dubmmmmmm."
The doctor then asked M to open her mouth wide and hum as loudly as
she could.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
"Nothing out of order," said the doctor. "Your little girl is the
picture of health. But just in case I have missed something, I will
refer you to a specialist — the ear, nose, and throat doctor. ENT
for short." And with that she made her notes and began a file on
M.
