Page 10 - BPW-UK ANNUAL REVIEW 2022-2023
P. 10

2022 has proven to be another very busy year for BPW UK and the Media & Marketing Working
Group. From arranging and hosting our ‘Wednesday Talks’ series, creating and sending out of
the Newsletter, to generally keeping members informed and supporting the members of the
FEC and areas with any technical support or communications required for events.
         Events

Since April 2022 we have held 10 speaker and in-person events as well as having attended other
events run by different organisations and International. These events have had great success
and the plan is to carry these on throughout 2023. Indeed, the last two entries on the list are
         for January and February 2023.

         Newsletter

This continues to be an interesting, varied and readable missive and requires input from con-
tributors, editors and our creative editor. The process to compile the articles, check them and
then create the Newsletter takes about a week and requires a significant time commitment
         from my team.

Feedback is always welcome as are articles and updates from members.

         Website

Following the change in designers, progress has been somewhat slower than anticipated but we
are well on the way to launching our new window to the world.

We have also introduced PayPal as a method of payment for new members and renewing mem-
bers. Once the website is live new members will be able to join online reducing the time it
takes to on-board a new member.

I look forward to continuing the journey for BPW UK to attract new members and build on our
         successes.▪

         Vice President Media & Marketing
