Parliamentarian Report
As the state Parliamentarian I have attended all the Executive Committee meet-
ings and all of the state meetings. Barbara J. Davis and I presented a workshop on
Parliamentary procedure to the state and I have presented to Sierra Mar District. I
have also answered various inquiries from members and clubs.
We need parliamentary procedure as it is a code of ethics for working together in
groups. It facilitates the transaction of business and promotes cooperation and harmo-
ny. All members have equal rights, privileges and obligations. The majority has the
right to decide, but the minority has rights are protected.
Only one question at a time allowing full and free discussion of each motion.
