The BPW UK AGM and Conference 2023
was an excellent opportunity to connect with members in person.

At the AGM, Yasmin was returned as the VP Young BPW UK
for the year 2023 - 2024.

At conference Young BPW Europe representative Alice Minuto
was the speaker at the Youngs two part session. In the first part she
spoke about BPW Europe and some of the projects going on. In the
second she encouraged all present to see the world through different
eyes. Alice spoke about changing your mindset in order to progress.
She gave an example of what she had done in her own life with re-
spect to her wardrobe - deciding to wear skirts instead of trousers to work, ensuring
colleagues took her seriously regardless of what she was wearing.

Young BPW UK also held a successful raffle at the conference. Between the
ticket sales and donations we raised £302. The raffle proceeds will be used for a
Young project or to aid a Young who may want to attend the European Conference
in Brussels. A very big ‘Thank You’ is extended to everyone who donated items and
made the raffle possible.

VP Yasmin also extends a special thank you to Otoho
Hayashi-Hunt who has been Acting VP Young BPW UK
over the last 15 weeks. Her work has been invaluable.
