A few of the eagle-eyed members may have spotted some green additions to
conference this year. We went paperless! The Conference papers came to you
through the in-box in the hope that less paper would be used. We gave each
speaker a tub of perennial garden flowers, not cut flowers as we wanted to estab-
lish roots with each of them. We asked for re-fillable bottles of water on the con-
ference tables, and we had a book sale to give each story a new owner.
I would like to invite you to tell me of any green changes you have made this
year and let me know if you plan on participating in the Earth Day 2023. The web-
site link is above, so that we can all learn more about this topic which affects our
everyday lives.
