Dear BPW UK Members,

It is traditional that, at the end of the
BPW UK AGM and Conference, the senior
Past President says thank you to the current
President and her team. In the rather busy
conclusion on Saturday that did not happen.

So, in the absence of Stella Rule and Pat
Lunn, it falls to me to do so.

"Thank you Madam President Jo and your
team for a thoughtful and outstanding conference with its
theme of Women – We Mean Business putting the emphasis
on the topics that are the essence of our purpose as a busi-
ness and professional organisation.

We were delighted by being able to listen
to excellent speakers, especially spellbound by the Gordon
Holmes speaker, Naomi Long, and also to enjoy the opportuni-
ty of good discussion. Finally, our enormous thanks to the host
region for their warm welcome and superb arrangements for
our every need.”
