Speaker Profiles





                            In order of speaking







                                          Jacqueline Castle is Chief Technology Officer at the Aerospace
                                          Technology Institute, where she is accountable for the ATI’s
                                          Technology Strategy to ensure UK Aerospace remains at the
                                          forefront of global aerospace and firmly on the path to a
                                          sustainable future.

                                          Prior to joining the ATI, Jacqueline spent more than 25 years in
                                          the Aerospace Industry at Airbus.

                                          She was the UK Chief Engineer for the Airbus A320 family of
                                          aircraft, with responsibility for the wings, landing gear and fuel
                                          system. Prior to this she held positions as the UK Chief Engineer
                                          for the A380 aircraft, the A330neo development, lead A380 and
                                          A350 landing gear engineering and headed up the Wing Design
                                          Authority organisation.

                                          Jacqueline is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution
                                          of Mechanical Engineers and the Royal Aeronautical Society. She
      Jacqueline Castle                   is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of the
                                          West of England and gained an MSc in Aerospace Design from the
                                          University of Bristol, where she is Professor of Practice at the
                                          Faculty of Engineering.










                                          Alison currently works at an electric vertical take off and
                                          landing vehicle (evtol) company called Vertical Aerospace as
                                          the Head of Structures responsible for development of the
                                          certification and prototype airframes.

                                          Prior to this she worked at Airbus, starting in materials and
                                          processes and then moving onto various roles across the
                                          airframe organisation including Head of engineering for the
                                          A330neo outer wingbox and Trailing edge, A330 neo winglet, and
                                          she was an airframe architect for single aisle developments.
                                          During her career she has developed extensive knowledge and
                                          experience of working with composite materials from the early
                                          concept to certification phases. Alison lives in Bristol with her
                                          husband and two children.
                                          Vertical Aerospace is pioneering electric aviation through its
           Alison Green                   eVTOL aircraft the VX4, which is projected to be capable of
                                          transporting a pilot and up to four passengers, while producing
                                          minimal noise and zero operating emissions. Vertical has
                                          successfully undertaken piloted flight tests with the programme
                                          continuing over the coming months.
