Dear Members,

We are in the second term of the diversity committee created at its inception by the NFBPWC’s
President‘s initiative by President Megan Shellman Rickard and Sher Singh which is now the
JDEI Committee. We are happy to be presenting the second workshop presentation for 2023 –
24 term.

The Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (JDEI) Committee’s aim is to explore
and understand in depth the full meaning of these four words appearing in our logo.
We are going to create a series of webinars where excellent specialized speakers
will present different facets and challenges within their expertise and to which ex-
tent it touches all our lives.

On Thursday, May 4 2023, from 5:00PM to 6:30PM Pacific Time, we will have our
second Webinar for this year. We will discuss ‘JUSTICE’. Full details will be sent to
you progressively, … BUT do mark your calendars now to secure this date.

Successively DIVERSITY, EQUITY and INCLUSION will be scheduled along the year,
leaving members ample time to reserve those dates also.
