Letter from the Editor

Dear BPW California Members,

With this Spring 2023 Edition of our ‘CALIFORNIA WOMAN’, I cannot tell you how
happy I was in receiving already a few independent articles from our Members, and
how very varied they already were! This is truly most exciting.
To begin with, Maria’s spiritual journey to India prompted me to look further: Who
is this Holy Man Swami Vidyadishananda who had a Coronation ceremony which
brought together the representatives of 13 Countries … and who happens to reside in
California ?

… Well to meet him, look no further than here: He is a Vedic monk, of the Giri Monastic
Order, being interviewed by two very competent podcasters: Philip Goldberg and Den-
nis Raimondi, resulting in a most informative conversation: …. do listen

Those little kittens described by Connie appear to be so pampered and refined, they
could belong to Pembroke.

I since learned that San Jose offers a similar house called ‘The Dancing Cat’ - Reserva-
tion for a visit is $10.- and they can be found on Facebook. Thank you Connie!
Any little ‘Catsby’ in your city?

Finally …

as I very much hope for your progressive contribution to our
CALIFORNIA WOMAN,
I also thought that it would be perhaps more professional to open a ‘special section’
called ’MEMBERS’ VOICES’ where all articles
not directly related to BPW’s Business would find their proper place.
I am totally open to a different name should you have one to offer?
