Executive Committee Actions and Recommendations
from the Winter Board of Directors Meeting

Action 1: Direct the President to appoint a task force to develop a CFBPW Succession
Planning Program. Recommended committee members: Barbara J Davis, Rosemary
Enzer, Sandy Thompson, Katherine Winans, and President Bessie as an ex officio mem-
ber.

Action 2: Discontinue the Sacramento Mailbox service at the conclusion of the current
contract.
Recommendation 1: Pending final contract signing, the CFBPW 2023 Annual Confer-
ence will be held at the Sheraton Ontario Airport Hotel. Dates: 5/19-21/ 2023.

Recommendation 2: Amend Bylaws Article VII Dues as follows: Members joining af-
ter March 1 and paying full annual dues will be a paid member for the balance of the
current year and the full following year.

Recommendation 3: Change Standing Rule 2 in the Handbook by deleting, “all Past
State Presidents in good standing”, so that only the Executive Committee and Immedi-
ate Past State President receive Executive Committee minutes.
Recommendation 4: Convene a Committee of the Whole to discuss solutions to fill-
ing the position of Meetings Coordinator to be vacated by Katherine Winans after the
May 2023 annual meeting.

Recommendation 5: Request of the board best option for utilizing the laptop donat-
ed to CFBPW by Juelle-Ann Boyer’s estate.
