CALL TO ORDER:
President Maria C. DeSousa called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America was led by Army
Veteran and Past State President Michelle Husby.

WELCOME AND INSPIRATION:
President Maria welcomed those attending in person and virtually and then presented Past
State President Lynn Brandstater who presented the Inspiration.

INTRODUCTIONS:
President Maria presented the 2023-2024 Executive Committee.
Secretary and Past CFBPW State President Katherine Winans also serving as Member
Records and Meetings Coordinator,
Treasurer Anne Marie Johnson,
Parliamentarian, Immediate Past NFBPWC President, NFBPWC International Relations
Chair, Past CFBPW State President, Consultant to District Presidents and Director of
the CABPW Education Fund, Sandy Thompson and,
herself as CFBPW State President.

President Maria then acknowledged CFBPW members’ service to BPW-International and
the National Federation in attendance:
BPW-I Immediate Past Executive Secretary, NFBPWC Liaison to the North America and
Caribbean Region, CFBPW Past State President and current Membership/Marketing
Chair Bessie Hironimus,
NFBPWC Bylaws & Resolutions Chair and Past CFBPW State President Trudy
Waldroop,
NFBPWC Nominations Chair and CFBPW Past State President and Small Business Chair
Manjul Batra.

President Maria acknowledge CFBPW Past State Presidents in attendance:
Connie Stahl also serving as CFBPW Military Affiliated Women Chair,
Linda Wilson also serving as Website Coordinator,
Pat Long, BPW California North District President, CABPW Education Fund Secretary,
Michelle Husby also serving as IT Coordinator and Zoom Co-host,
Rosemary Enzer also serving as Public Policy Co-Chair, President of Valley Sunset
District and President of CABPW Education Fund,
and Lynn Brandstater also serving as Nominations Chair.
