BPW Germany Initiative 2022: #ProudtobeBPW Campaign
Participatory social media campaign:
What makes you proud to be a BPW?

The international “#ProudtobeBPW” campaign is a collaborative initiative forged and
organized by the German BPW Clubs: BPW Kronshagen, BPW Essen and Ann Troy-Inniss,
Task Force International BPW Germany e.V.

BPW members are invited to submit their short statements (DACH countries in German, all
others in English) about why they are proud to be a member of Business and Professional
Women (BPW). The statements are published on social media including a photo, club
affiliation and hashtag #ProudtobeBPW.

“#ProudtobeBPW” rolls out in Germany, gradually including BPW clubs in Europe and BPW
national federations, as well as affiliated clubs and members worldwide.

BPW members use the same specially designed preformatted template. Forms to gather the
relevant information are sent to the BPW Federation Presidents and affiliated clubs and
members for relevant distribution.

The primary goal of the campaign is to spotlight what motivates the BPW members of be
part of the worldwide network of Business and Professional Women.

All BPW members have their own personal “Why” statement of purpose for joining BPW.

These statements create the BPW members’ future to such a degree, that collecting and
publishing these statements can be valuable in promoting BPW club membership.

As part of the initiative, fifty statements are selected by the campaign organisers to create
templates for BPW promotion material (posters, postcards, coffee mugs, book markers etc.),
and shared with the BPW clubs worldwide.
