A Misogyny Law for Scotland: What are Women’s Views?
Friday 12th May 2023, 11.00am-3.00pm
We know that misogyny shapes women’s lives across Scotland – from their personal relationships to
their professional development. In order to tackle the consistent problem of misogyny the Scottish
Government are consulting on whether specific misogynistic behaviours should become a criminal
offence in Scotland. The SWC are holding a hybrid conference and roundtable discussions to gain
women in Scotland views on the upcoming Misogyny Law. To read more about this and to register

We are hosting several roundtables on different topics surrounding misogyny, in
the lead up to our conference to ensure women’s lived experience is included in
the development of this policy.
