Dear Members,

This last month has been very busy with planning our first in person National Confer-
ence since Covid became the buzz word of the time! BPW UK has an excellent conference
Task Force, and I would like to say a big “Thank you” for the work to date. In around 30
days we will have the wonderful opportunity to be together in Belfast not just as members
but as friends and colleagues. This chance to network, exchange ideas and enjoy time to-
gether has been unavoidably absent in our last few conferences. However, I hope by now
you have each registered to attend in person. The invitation to attend our conference was
extended to all the European Clubs and Federations and I am thrilled to be able to welcome
members from Italy, Estonia, Malta, Georgia, and Ireland. In getting together we can swap
best practices with each other, to learn how to best increase the membership and indeed
the value we each get from being a member of BPW.
For those members wishing to enjoy the conference at home, the “Take away” ver-
sion will be professionally filmed and available via a pay per view, streamed via our BPW
UK YouTube channel. The fee is unavoidable, but the quality of the speakers will indeed
show the value in this.

On 7 January 2023 I attended the IFBPW North American and Caribbean regional
meeting in St Kitts, and I had the pleasure of representing BPW UK.
