However, I would like to talk to you about the session that
spoke to me the loudest, “What if you have been told a lie about
gender”, by Runa Magnus.
From the title, I had no pre-conceptions about this semi-
nar, but I came out very pleased I had chosen this session.
Runa asked us to fill out an online poll using our phones, with
the results shown on the screen in the breakout room. We were
asked which box was trapping us….?
Take a moment to think, is it us that allows society to label us?
What box are you in?
Finally, a quote from Runa “Don’t take yourself too seriously! You are never going to
get out of this life alive anyway!”

Finally, I was proud to receive this certificate from BPW Europe for the work I have
done both on behalf of BPW UK and the work I have carried out in my local commu-
