In response to a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue this morning that left 11 dead, President Trump commented and then tweeted, “It’s a terrible, terrible thing, what’s going on with hate in our country, frankly, and all over the world, and something has to be done.”
Seconds from kicking off his 16th campaign rally this week, expense- paid by taxpayers, the president was on stage in Indianapolis when an aide rushed out and handed him a note. Head bowed, he appeared to be pointing at each word when he looked up, arms extended with his characteristic sneer and announced, “Sorry, you beautiful future farmers of America, I love you more than Melanie but I have to get back to work. First it’s bomb stuff, now gun stuff. Blah, blah, blah. The fake news media can’t keep their traps shut and they’re totally killing our election momentum. I gotta go, very unfortunate, I gotta go back to Washington and pretend to listen to my advisers. So boring, but I gotta do it.”
“Before I go, let me hear it for TRUMP. WE LOVE TRUMP. WE LOVE TRUMP. WE LOVE TRUMP. Louder, louder. You know the drill. Yes, that’s it. Next to Diet Coke, my favorite thing is....you got it....my beautiful name.”
