When the White House was asked to comment on Mr. Burnett’s immigration status, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded, “Let me be clear. Mark Burnett is not now, and never has been, subject to U.S. immigration laws. As the president will
tell you, Mr. Burnett is a genius and anyone who is a white person — preferably male — and a genius, like Einstein and the first lady,
is welcome the United States, no questions asked.”
When asked about the president’s relationship to Mr. Burnett today, Sanders responded, “Under no circumstances, even a subpoena, will I respond to that question. His adoration for Mark Burnett is no one’s business, period. George ‘The Deplorable’ Soros and Theresa ‘Very Low-Energy’ May concocted this FAKE STORY to divert attention from Theresa’s disastrous Brexit exit. I can state with no hesitation that their scheme failed beautifully.”
“The president was the first president in history to recognize the
value of bad press. He understands bad press more than any president that’s ever been in office. Nobody’s done more for bad press than the president. President Trump has the perfect temperament for bad press. He thrives on it because his base thrills to it. So, all you non-Fox, so-called journalists, keep up the good work,” Sanders bellowed as she grabbed the podium with both hands and shook it violently.
