The Associated Press just reported that President Trump is illiterate. The AP accidentally stumbled over this not-terribly-shocking fact while interviewing former educators for a story on the president’s early years. None were willing to speak on the record, but they had plenty to spout off.
Individual-2, one of the president’s elementary school teachers, remembers an obnoxious little boy who was wound up like a top. “It’s as if he had ants in his pants 24/7,” she recalled. “In reading class, Donny stood in front of the class, fingers in ears, jumping on alternating feet, mouthing ‘blah, blah, blah.’ I swear, the boy took a wrong turn when he came out of the womb. There are no words to describe the little devil.”
Individual-3, a former New York Military Academy superintendent recalled that Trump’s parents sent him there at age 13 because he was kicked out of Kew Forest School for threatening to sue his teachers for failing him on written tests. “His parents thought a military school would instill character and discipline in the kid, but boy, were they wrong. He skipped school countless times but after I contacted his parents following one incident, Donald never returned. We were all so relieved.”
