President Trump held a press briefing this morning to announce plans to slash food safety inspectors at 800 federally inspected hog slaughterhouses across the country, saying that he arrived at the decision, “because you don’t need inspectors to tell you that slaughtering hogs is a dirty business.”
Mr. President, Maggie Haberman from The New York Times, a question, please. “If the federal government doesn’t lead in this area, who will?”
“Maggie, Maggie, you and your fake newspaper are such losers,” the president chided. “Every year, the U.S. Government spends billions and billions inspecting stuff — offshore drilling platforms, nuclear power plants, lettuce, airplanes, eggs, air, water, you name it. That money could be spent on my border wall and deliver a fantastic ROI or RETURN ON ILLEGALS!” Mr. Trump shouted approvingly.
