This year, 50 Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornets will execute touch-and-go landings on the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan, soaring over the White House on their return to Andrews Air Force Base. The president’s family will be joined by 75 of his closest friends who are not incarcerated, on the carrier’s landing deck. During the parade of touch-and-go maneuvers, the president will be sitting in a golf cart hugging the American flag and waving to a Fox News video crew hired to film the spectacle.
At this writing, the price tag for the president’s changes is unknown.
An official who wished to remain anonymous said, “It could approach the cost of a wall across our southern and northern borders. However, the president doesn’t care because it’s a government expense for which taxpayers will pick up the tab.”
