When Donald delivered his tax plan in 2017, he declared falsely, “This is going to cost me a fortune, this thing, believe me. This is not good for me...I think my accountants are going crazy right now.” However, Donald chose his attorneys and tax accountants carefully. His top selection criteria for any person reporting to him are loyalty, obedience and veneration. In that order. Full stop. Donald’s yes-men accountants and lawyers have dutifully followed his instructions: deduct everything and never answer questions.
The White House was contacted following today’s news bombshell
and issued this unattributed response: “The presidency has cost Donald Trump billions. He pays hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes...and he has paid a lot of state income taxes, too.”
Alan Garten, a spokesperson for the Trump Organization, also claimed that the story is totally inaccurate and questioned its timing, “Over the past decade the president has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government.” When asked for documentation, Garten was in the process of clearing his throat a second time when
his phone went dead.
This story will be updated when expected lawsuits are announced.
