A White House source disclosed today that Ivanka Trump is writing a book about her experience as the president’s adviser and daughter.
She had planned to start the book after the election, but her last-minute elimination as the Supreme Court nominee and Senate confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett sent Ms. Trump into paroxysms of rage.
After learning that her own father unceremoniously brushed her to the Supreme Court curb, Ms. Trump called her cousin, Mary L. Trump, for advice. Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist, generously accepted Ivanka as a patient to help her work through her rage, which was already co-opted by Bob Woodward for the title of his recently- released book of the same name.
Little is known about Ivanka’s treatment under the care of her cousin. However, friends and associates who asked to remain anonymous reported a sea change in Ivanka’s demeanor and energy, after only
a few sessions.
According to one of Ivanka’s college roommates, “She became a
totally different person in a few weeks. Ivanka started wearing “RBG Dissent” T-shirts and “Because There Is No Planet B” tennis shoes.
She trashed her makeup and plans to dye her hair black. How cool is that?” Another friend confided, “Ivanka knows it’s late in the election season, but she joined The Lincoln Project as a volunteer senior adviser. The Lincoln Project team camaraderie has helped her discover the true meaning of democracy and compassion.”
