Carlow About me
Hi my name is Tristan and I'm currently studying as a Design student at the Institute of Technology Carlow, I'm a
very visual person and love generating creative ideas and am passionate about sketching traditionally and digital.
I'm a reserved and quiet person by nature but when it comes to work I've no problem sharing ideas and thoughts
and can become very focused on the task at hand.
I'm generally quite relaxed and because of my quiet demeanor I tend to be more observant and am also a great
listener which are aspects of myself that I try to utilize.

Strengths
I believe my core strength to be my ability to convey ideas and my thought process through freehand sketching
which is something I invest a lot of my free time into as well and am constantly trying to improve my visual skills
through oberving life. I also find that I pick up and learn things quite quickly especially when its visually conveyed
which I think has been an essential skill throughout my design learning. I pride myself in my intuition and my
holistic approach to design problems and generating creative solutions.

My Design Philosophy
As people we are inherently connected to nature but have become an outlier of complexity causing issues that
only we can solve, but its through that complex chaos of consciousness that allows only us to do so. That is
why we design.

As businessman Bert Lance famously said,
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
As a designer I like to think,
"If it ain't broke, make it better"
