Postmodernism
Postmodernism it is what was called after the term modernism gave its way, itcan
be said that modernism is the mother of postmodernism. Why say that? Modernism had a big influxes and
impact on postmodernism. This was because it was the opposite of each other in that time, as we see people in
modernism at that time hada very different way of think and acting when it came to design and other movements.
For example, the believes wore rational thought the universal values and this was because people wore very
objective to what they need it and what it meant to them, as in postmodernism people believes wore different as
they followed everything and things wore irrational to them, it was believed that local values wore or are important and
people wore objective to this custom.

Modernism began in the end of 19 century and last until the early 20 century. Inthis time people came up with

new ways to shape the culture and to improve the environment this also brought a lot of influence and
disciplines in many areas such as art/design, architecture, music, and literature. In time, all of this came to
mass production which led to artistes think about their practice witch all this gave power and that was the
beginning of a beautiful culture.
The term “postmodern” had is first break out in the 1880s by John Watkins Chapman,
he was the one that showed and described painting also style as postmodern, also between the 1921 and 1925
postmodernism had been or was usedto in terms of new form of music and arts. As we know the historical
movements began in the 1939 and wasn’t used in the contemporary between1979.
