Movements and key factors
Post-modernism
i
The world war finished in the 1945 and because of this war there was a big impact in civilization, ths
was because people start to change their way of think and this was allowing them to hope for the
better. During the war, many people had very limited right and from that some ideas and artwork
and pieces also literature weren’t allowed to be seen in public or by the public. As the war ended so
it began the birth of the new products such as model 1015 jukebox designed by Paul Fuller in the
1946, we also had Eames Charles who was a designer who designed the Three Melded chairs

not forgetting that post-modernism ha its 3 main principles and people for the very first time start to
understand the art display and they believed that art could be made from everything could be made
and created from anything, artist at that time become more and more creatives and they start
creating things from scraps of rubbish and so on, with that they believed more to the ideas then the
work and this let to give more credit to the ideas. In that time, it was also believed that only men
can be an artistic genius and that was just another dilemma in the era of Postmodernism. As we all
know that movements do not show up overnight as well as we know a lot of social cultural and
historical factors gave its way to influence and help creating the best well known movements at that
time.
