I chose Martine Bedin as my design icon
of inspiration for this project, because
her work embodies a joyful,
character-driven approach to design —
objects that feel alive, expressive, and
unapologetically playful.
Her Memphis philosophy challenges
functional minimalism and instead
celebrates color, personality, and
narrative. This made her an ideal
influence for reimagining the Polaroid
635 CL, allowing the redesign to move
beyond utility and embrace an emotional,
almost sculptural presence.
