Description: Original
Rubber is a strong, waterproof, elastic substance that is obtained from the latex sap of
tropical trees that can be vulcanized and finished into a variety of products and purposes.
Rationale:
I chose to replicate rubber because it is widely used in a range of ways. Examples include;
rubber tyres on cars, grips on power tools and handle bars on bicycles.
Attributes:
Rubber has a high tear and tensile strength, resilience and resistance to abrasion, friction,
extreme temperatures and water swell.
