The black watermark at the base of
the candle holder represents the black
river Styx. The styx river represents one
of significant obstacle. In the third task,
she would have to get the water from
the river which is situated high up in
the mountain. Human would not able
to get there. Anyway, again at this river,
Psyche had found out the help from
eagle. This can be inferred to how hard
life is, could be as hard as psyche's task,
there will always be a way out for any
problems.
