At the request of the goddess Hera and Venus, Cupid has made Jason and
Medea, daughter of King Etes, fall in love. Later, when Jason is faced with a
deadly mission, Medea, hit by Cupid's love arrow, falls in love with Jason.
So, she gave Jason a magic potion that made him invincible for one day and
made him victorious.
2. The Adventures of Aeneas
The goddess Venus sent Cupid to shoot a love arrow at Dido, the queen of
Carthage, making her love Aeneas and making Aeneas never love her. Later,
Aeneas had to leave Carthage to fulfill his destiny, which made Dido very
sad and die of a broken heart.
