Letter received from an appreciative Parent: To Whom It May Concern, I am a parent of 3 students, 2 of
whom go to Sonnie Hereford, where the CHIPP program resides. I wanted to write this letter to share
with you how much we as a family appreciate this program and hope that it not only continues within
Sonnie Herford but starts to become a staple within as many schools as possible. Our family of 5 is one
that works hard, however, struggles financially, as I am sure many families across American do as an
amazing bonus, my children see the food bags as a treat and sometimes barter over when home. The
CHIPP program has been a God send, allowing my children a snack, breakfast, or even a meal when
we’re running low at home. There are many families such as ours that are not able to qualify for assis-
tance, but still struggle to bring enough home to buy the groceries needed for the size of our family and
this program really makes a difference. We truly appreciate everything this program has to offer and
hope this letter serves as a small Thank you for all the hard work you put into this program.
