Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter ended HBCU
Week 2019 by hosting its #CAP Kick-off Program at Mae Jemison High School in
Huntsville. Participants learned the purpose of the program, #CAP, which is to
assist high school Juniors and Seniors through the college admissions process
(CAP). Guest speakers discussed how to develop a winning essay, ACT and SAT
preparation, and navigating Financial Aid. There was also a discussion entitled,
"Why I attended an HBCU!"
