         Thirty-three Debutantes and their mothers,
sorors, family, and friends shared in the
         traditional Mother Daughter Brunch.
Each Debutante and Mother were dressed
alike and presented to the waiting audience
by Dr. Rhonda H. Thompson and Ms. Erica
         Washington. The Mother introduced herself
         and her legacy Debutante.
At the conclusion of a delectable brunch,

Ms. Robyn Jackson presented a Salute to
         Mothers. During this presentation each
Debutante presented their Mother with an
engraved silver filigree jewelry box accented
with kisses and hugs between the two.
Tables were adorned with beautiful clocks
and lanterns surrounded with ivy and
pearls. Pink and green colors were just the

touch to illuminate the room as well. The
decoration’s main attraction was a replica of
a Mother and Daughter holding hands
surrounded by roses, a clock and a bench,
the ideal place to take pictures. This was
an endearing time for the Mothers and
Debutantes as we enjoyed the continuance
of activities for the Sixty-first Debutante
         Presentation and Ball. The brunch
committee members were ecstatic to serve
         for this event.

         Valley Conservatory Students provided
         music.
