EGO ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wine and Cheese Gala. Don’t forget to join the membership
committee at the Annual Reclamation/Reactivation Event (a
Wine & Cheese Gala) on Saturday, August 5 at the Omega
Center at 181 Import Circle.

This classy-casual event will give Sorors the opportunity to
unwind and have a fun-filled evening this summer. Come out
and socialize with our missing pearls, and AKA mentees while
dining on heavy hors D'oeuvres, and sipping on wine and
sparkling cider. Sorors are welcome to bring their favorite
bottle of wine to share!

EGO Chapter Retreat
What: Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter Retreat
When: August 12th (9:00 am to 1:00 pm)
Where: First Missionary Baptist Church
Cost: $10 (Box lunch) But...isn't fellowshipping with your sorors priceless.
RSVP Date: Payment is due by August 5th. Mail checks to Soror Gloria Hemphill or deliver to the Wine and
Cheese Gala on August 5th.

Alabama Statewide Cluster. Mark your calendar – September 15-16, 2017-the Alabama
Statewide Cluster is coming to Huntsville, Alabama (the heart of Cluster 2) at the Von Braun
Center.

Our Cluster 2 Coordinator, Soror Edna Sheridan of Rho Chi Omega Chapter is providing
leadership for the Statewide Cluster. Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter has been assigned the
leadership roles for the following tasks: Decorations, Publicity and Photography, Vendors,
and Technology. We are assigned to assist other chapters with the following committees:
Hospitality (Rho Chi Omega and Omicron Zeta) and the Luncheon (Rho Chi Omega).
