Target Programs
SOLES 4 SOULS/EYEGLASSES DONATION

The final EGO Shoes and Eyeglasses collection was held
on April 16, 2022. The drop-off opportunity was a huge
success! Target 5 shipped an estimated 174 pairs of shoes
to Soles4Souls. We donated 336 pairs of eyeglasses (267
were regular eyeglasses and 69 were doctor prescribed
sunglasses) to the Von Braun Lions Club – Huntsville.
Special thanks to Soror Alice Sams and Soror Donna
Sams who represented the Lions Club and EGO. This
final event under the administration of Soror Glenda
Baskin Glover was well attended. Thanks to Soror Elise
Morris and Soror Verlene Texas for all their dedication to
Target 5! Thanks to all the Sorors who assisted in this
event and to all those who donated shoes and eyeglasses.
