Epsilon Gamma Omega celebrated 70 years of service in the Huntsville, Alabama community.
The Rocket City Pink Gala was held at the Davidson Center at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.
More than 250 sorors, their families, and friends gathered for a night of elegance, remembrance
and a brief walk down memory lane as seven decades of being Supreme in Service to All Mankind

family members, and friends for supporting EGO on its journey to serve the greater Huntsville
community. Each person attending received a commemorative coin symbolizing Epsilon Gamma
Omega’s commitment to serve the Huntsville community. Special thanks to Soror Veronica
Collins for designing our beautiful 70 anniversary logo that was featured on the coin. Epsilon
th
Gamma Omega Chapter honored Sorors Dr. Wilma J. Ruffin, Blannie Batts, Cynthia Holden,
Adrienne P-K Washington, Dawn Stanley, Dr. Mattie Thomas, and Doris McShann who have
served as basileus for this illustrious chapter. State and local elected officials congratulated EGO
on a job well done. The highlight of the evening was the donation of toys to the Salvation Army’s
Angel Tree Program, which will ensure that needy children have Christmas gifts.
Congratulations and thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the 70th anniversary chairman,
Soror Kristina Hendrix, and every soror who worked tirelessly to make the Rocket City Pink
