SOULFOOD COLLABORATION

It was an awesome collaboration with the sorors of Target 2, Sisterly Relations, and
Membership Committees. The food and fellowship was outstanding; the best part about
the night was the warmth of sisterly love! A special thank you to Sorors Cheryl R. Davis
and Rhonda Thompson for their gracious greetings that helped to set the tone for the
evening! Soror Cynthia McCrary delivered a most spiritual and powerful meditation and
grace. Soror Renee Knight lead the sorors in singing several songs. She asked us to
greet each other and boy did we hug, high five and smile with each other. Sorors
Courtney Battle and Raven Nall gave us delicious Thanksgiving treats. The special
reading by Soror Courtney encouraged us to pause and be thankful for our blessings.
Soror Dawn Stanley always has very creative activities. She had sorors tell us what
they were most thankful for in their lives. Sorors Eugenia Goggans, Lanita Slaton, and
Anita Garner gave us very touching testimonials on what they are personally thankful
for in their lives. Sorors Glynn Collier, Patricia Fuzzell, Janice Toney, Lorna Howell,
Victoria Binford, Carol Ball, and Jean Owens worked either the sign-in tables, door
prizes, or serving food. Sorors Wilma Ruffin and Sharon Gresham donated a total of 25
exceptional door prizes!
