Atomenergomash JSC opened a branch of

AEM-Propulsion in Arkhangelsk

The machine-building division of Rosatom – Atomenergomash
JSC has opened a branch of AEM-Propulsion in Arkhangelsk. The main
task of the company will be the production and supply of elements of a
propulsion complex for vessels of various purposes and classes.
Currently, work is underway to modernize the production site of the branch. Due to
the presence of its own foundry in the control loop of Atomenergomash JSC, it is possible
to produce propellers from the castings of blades of its own production with obtaining the
appropriate certificates.
At present, AEM-Propulsion is actively exploring the possibility of acting as a complete
supplier of complete shaft liners. This is one
of the most critical parts of the ship, the
production of which is synchronized with
the construction of the ship in time. To carry
out deliveries exactly in accordance with
the ship's construction schedule, a chain of
cooperation is being created with the main
enterprises of the division and other leading
Russian manufacturers.
Since its inception, AEM-Propulsion has
started cooperation with ANO Sudprom to
improve competitiveness, manufacturability
and promote goods and services in the
domestic market. At the same time, AEM-
Propulsion is actively working on the creation
of "package" solutions for shipbuilding - a comprehensive supply of the entire propulsion complex
of the ship as a whole, from the main engine to the propeller.
